To the Summit of Ellingwood

Along the SW ridge route. There's plenty of loose stuff, but it's pretty solid where it counts the most. Sticking as close as possible to the ridge maximizes the fun. Guidebooks may mention a cairned route, but many of the cairns along the upper portions of the route were dismantled during the summer of 2013 by someone who found it approaching vandalism to have so many cairns on such a wilderness-quality peak.
