Ken, Dennis and I made our way to the Washington Creek trailhead and car camped there for the night. Fortunately in the morning it was cool and made the 12 mile effort with close to 3800' of gain tolerable. This is one of my favorite hikes in Nevada now as the stream was a nice companion for about 40 percent of the way and the views from the summit outstanding. I left a register for those who might follow. Thanks to Victor for this summitpost page.
