A. Miller taking photos of the still flowing July 2007 lava flow, at some 3100m. Rocks were continually rolling down the flow front and up the side of the levee where he's crouching.

Rare pic of that place, thanks for posting! Where did the lava flow originate? The summit or the flank?

Originated at the summit, a colleague of mine fortunately has some nice aerial photos from the time to show this.
