Top of the Apollo Couloir on...
Top of the Apollo Couloir on Mount Olympus looking east. This is a popular mountaineering scramble up the east face to the summit. This was taken May 1 '04. Crampons were used and an axe was taken, good thing as a self arrest was needed on the very steep decent near the top of the coulior.
