Topping out

Finally, the summit of the NE Ridge. With snow starting to fall and the light going, we opted to rap the route instead of traversing over to the Kain Route. With a single 60m rope and few fixed anchors, this took the better part of the night. On the plus side, we had the route to ourselves. Photo by Liz.

I mean

We rappelled the NE Ridge that we had climbed instead of the normal descent on the other side.

That's one way to avoid the crowds on a popular route. Was that this Spring, or last year? Either way, my hat's off to you for commitment.
