The route you've described here is actually the West Chimney Route. I've climbed the East Face, which is reached by continuing around the left side of the rock away from the Rifugio Sciatolli and nearer Torre Quarta Bassa. The East face route is only a Gr. III+ (about YDS 5.3-5.4).
