The picture was taken in January 2015 in a very windy morning (70-80 km/h gusts coming from the lagoon). It was quite difficult to obtain a sharp picture considering that I had to wipe the lens several times against the splashes thrown from the lagoon and to prop the tripod. Dawn light was visible less than a minute.

Absolutely MAGNIFICENT image. Where, exactly, is the specific location of Torres-del-paine on Mother Earth?

It is in Chile, in the Torres del Paine National Park. The exact location of the photo is the eastern part of the lagoon at the base de las Torres.
