What the heck is a Trail Sloth?

I can't really explain why I thought of this subject for an album, other than for pure fun and comical reasons. We've all had hiking partners of different styles and personalities. Sometimes these traits can be somewhat irritating, and at the same time, pretty dang funny. My hiking partner, John, inspired me to create this page. He calls himself a "Trail Sloth". He's slow but steady. But, it's not only his "slowness" that makes him enjoyable to hike with. It's his whole demeanor. You never know what you're going to get when you start the day. Heck! For all I know, I would be considered a "Trail Sloth" if I hiked with some of the animals here on SP!

So, this page is dedicated to those special buddies who drive us nuts, but the trip wouldn't be the same without them. Please feel free to contribute. I only have one request for those who post; make sure you don't belittle your friends too much. And, use your imagination when describing pictures of these special friends. I'll add more as I get time.

Have fun with it!

Thanks. I'm not quite sure how much interest this page will generate. There's probably not many people with a twisted sense of humor like me. We'll see what happens. Thanks again!

The beauty of being the trail sloth is how much you see on your way to where your going.
There may be sightings in the Ruby Mountains in 09.
