Somewhere along the Fall Creek Trail, below Notch Mountain.... How often do you see a 100-foot section of high elevation trail submerged in rushing water? The Holy Cross Wilderness is known as the "water wilderness" and the enormous snowmelt sometimes gets out of bounds. This is an early summer photograph, scanned, 1995.
