As you drive into Maple Canyon before reaching the Whiting CG you might be tempted to pull in here. This is indeed a trailhead, but it's the Equestrian/Maple Canyon trailhead. If you hike from here you will add 700' of elevation and 4 miles to your round trip to Spanish Fork Peak.
