I agree with you that this pic looks little bit unreal, but for taking for this shot I have spent hours and taken more than 10 shots. On a clear sky night at Baltoro glacier, one can see the countless stars in the sky and the stars lights reflects with the icy mountains and these star lights have enough lights to capture such pictures. your hope is not in vain - I find this one just fantastic! Just tell me - was there moonlight that night, or does the light really only come from the stars?

There was not moonlight at that night, but due to clear weather, the sky was full from stars, and reflection stars light to snowy mountain create enough light to shot a such shot, specially in the Karakoram mountains.
