Traverse on the Ridge

Difficult rocky section on the Tajos de la Virgen-Tajos del Nevero Ridge. In summer can be traversed to the north side -the side which is not seen on the image- (coming from Pico del Cartujo, left) in order to avoid abseiling and climbing big gendarmes and boulders. Some prefer to traverse it to the south -image- (coming from the Pico del Cartujo to the right), like we did, over a steep snowy slope. The steps on the snow are clearly seen. April, 5th, 2009.
