In an amazing stroke of good fortune, I had five days of excellent weather in Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park. This was my last day, and while it was still quite fine, it looked as if it was going to change to more normal conditions. The photo shows the lower Tasman Valley, taken while descending from Mueller Hut. |
