Boot-packed it from road at around 8,500' to around 13,000' for an awesome ski descent. Some fresh snow on old crust.

Long Fun Day
Hiked w/friends Aaron & Cameron (their first summit of a mountain!) from Cuchara Mtn Ski Resort to the summit. Saw Marmots and the Bighorn Herd. Also hiked up nearby Boyds Mtn. Very enjoyable climb but a long hike back to Cuchara in the heat! Perfect day!

Route Climbed: North Ridge Date Climbed: Summer 1998It was a clear day with great summit views. Goats were present on the eastern slopes. I climbed with Mike Smola.
