Well done.

Excellent for going down there solo. Good trip report and photos too.

Re: Well done.

Thanks! It was really a dream come true for me. Congrats on your summit of Orizaba too.

Re: Cool

Thanks! Only a few whiffs of sulphur up there. After seeing your Cayambe shots I might need to amend my travel plans in Ecuador- awesome.

Nicely done!

I've been thinking of making a trip down to Mexico eventually. Thanks for the report and the great pics.

Congrats!

Congrats on your two successful summits. I was fortunate as well to reach my dream of Orizaba in February this year! Nice Trip report.
Do you live in Colorado? I'm looking for people to attempt Chimborazo and Cotopaxi in Ecuador!

Re: Congrats!

Hi and thanks! I live in Denver, you are in Littleton, I think? I'm starting my planning for ~12 days in Ecuador this coming Fall or Winter with Cotopaxi and Chimborazo as my main goals (and also 2 smaller mountains for acclimatization while there). If you are interested in going with me let me know- I'm tired of hiking/climbing by myself! Congrats on your summit too; I enjoyed reading your trip report.

Re: Congrats!

Please let me know if you're interested in climbing anything bigger than a 14er in Mexico, Ecuador, etc. - Derek

senoritas

I see a bunch of pics of you standing by yourself and the line in you bio stating that you are "looking for partners."

What gives, Dr. H? I am sure the Hopper charm has not diminished any since our long, fruitful nights at Sherlocks and Valley Brook.

Re: nice

Thanks- although I usually use guides to minimize risk (and keep my wife from worrying too much) this was a very rewarding trip for me even though there was no technical difficulty involved.

Conchola- cost

Hi,

I am planning my trip in December and asked COnchola for the cost and he told me $185 per person for me and my buddy. I thought it was too much for per person and see how much other people have paid.
