i'm enjoying your snowclimbing TR's this spring! and hi to SarahT as well. what's the approximate RT mileage and vertical gain if we only do Sayres north couloir from the La Plata TH? thanks!

Hi Scott. The RT mileage is about the same for Sayres alone - 10.5 miles. The gain is only 3800 ft though, a pretty reasonable day.

Had trouble seeing the "X"

...but that moon photo is top-notch. Congrats on another nifty spring climb. (I think I'll do Sayres under summer conditions...)

I had trouble seeing it too. Its easier to spot when the face is melted out a bit more I think.
