Triple headed Babin Vrh...

Triple headed Babin Vrh (1738m) seen from the Paklenica hut – Struge refuge– Vaganski Vrh (1757m) route, some 20mins below the summit of Vaganski Vrh. Path from Struge plateau passes below Babin Vrh (worthy additional goal) and traverses steep slopes left of this huge funnel shaped basin. Even better is sharp ridge on the right which falls towards continental terrace with few hundred meters high cliffs. Danger on the ridge in winter is that there are many drifts made by west and south winds which are overhanging above the cliffs. Photo: Aleksandar Gospic
