Tuscarora, NV cemetery
A sad reminder of the high mortality rates of the 19th century: In the plot to the left lies a girl who died at the age of 6 years in 1881 and an infant boy who died at the age of 4 days in 1885; an infant boy who died at the age of 7 months in 1890 is buried in the plot to the right. The Tuscarora Mountains are in the background and the ghost town of Tuscarora is off the picture to the right. Photo taken 7/22/07.
