Getting dark above San Domenico. The trail winds through those peaks. In spite of all knowledge and admonition I am wearing a white cotton shirt, and while it isn't good for the cold June rain, I would have looked smashing in the Bahamas. Rather than expire from hypothermia on the peaks I decide to schlepp back down to the osteria for wine, maiale brasato, and a warm bed. This is after all italy.
