Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes as seen from roughly the summit of Winchester Mtn. You can see the road (which is the trail if you were driving an Accord like me) approaching from the center-right of the pic above the rightmost lake. Then parking is between the lakes- if you can coax your car up the road. The spur road going from center of the photo to center-left above the leftmost lake is a gated mining road which is still used by the owners of the mining claims around the Lone Jack mine. The Winchester Mtn trail can be seen in the foreground below zigzagging up the hillside.
