This is yet another extraordinary page! Interesting, how quickly you switched from La Palma. As if you were only waiting to explode valuable information.
Hehe, explode information. Actually I still have four La Palma pages (saved the best for last ;-)) to submit. But when I adopted the Schalfkogel page and had a look at the map I realized that I had quite some experience of that range. Mostly the Italian part but the Austrian part can be easily found elsewhere - and there were already pages to get infos from.
Now I'll have to go back to La Palma - and finally think about the last Carnic Alps Group (which I already started half a year ago....)
Pride? I'm not sure. This is not a concept I'm very familiar with. Yes, every now and then I come across one of my pages and like what I see. Bust most times I see something I should change...
Anyway, whenever you google for one of the mountains of Sardinia you'll have a SP-page in the first or second place. That's something. Even Pale di San Martino now are in the 5th spot. But this only tells you
Wow, once again an impressive piece of work. thank you very much for this herculian effort. I hope I will find the time and patience once to improve my Venediger Group page to this level.
Concerning Ötztal Alps: I will post some additions in the future: there might be said a little more about the alpinistic possibilites you find in the area and the specific subgroups.

Untitled CommentEnjoy, Gangolf! Do you ever look back on all you have done on SP so far? It's something you can be really proud of!

a) that SP is a very popular site
b) that those mountains are not toooooo popular.
Probably both.

Untitled CommentWOW!
Encyclopedic and yet beautifully entertaining!!
And the scrolling banner up at the top is way cool too :)

Untitled CommentThanks! I stole that banner idea from a picture of Andrzej Gibasiewicz. It goes like
<marquee behavior="alternate" direction="right" scrollamount="1" width="80%">Rolling Text</marquee>

Untitled CommentPerhaps you can slightly increase the values of both scrollamount and width

Untitled CommentYour speed and the completeness of the page are always the most impressive features!
But be careful: in few days it already weights 40% of my Big One: wouldn't you compete with it? ;-))
