Ok you got it.
I was wiped out. The night before I took some magic mushrooms a friend gave me. I was thinking, wow, Death Valley and mushrooms, cool! But it led to the same old psychedelic visions I had on acid decades before but totally secondary by then, and left me wasted all the next day. Never took them again!
