Via Old Baldy Trail with "Rice Peak" Date Climbed: Nov 19, 2012
We enjoyed typical, beautiful fall southern Arizona weather. The Old Baldy trail is always a pleasant way to work the lungs and legs. Found a disembodied ruminant stomach (ewwww!) still full of freshly-chomped grass laying in the trail - pretty spooky. I presume a Cougar had something to do with this, but the body was nowhere to be found. Loved the views and loved finally placing my feet on this crest that I so often admire from the back patio. Can't wait to do the other peaks along the ridge and near Florida Saddle!
