Unknown climbers on the final...

Unknown climbers on the final pitch (~5.4) of the Pioneer Route on Monkey Face. The belayer is at the nose boulder (where you rap with two ropes to the ground). The Mouth Cave is on the left; the West Side Cave is on the right. East face of Monkey is on the left while the north face is on the right side. The faint crack (seam?) seen on the east face just left of the arete is part of the East Face route (5.13d) redpointed with trad gear only by Sonnie Trotter in 2004. The event (as well as the portion of crack in the photo) was featured prominently on the cover of Rock & Ice in late '04. An article is here (January 29, 2005).
