Unusual view of Mount Wilbur and Iceberg Peak

This unusual view of Mount Wilbur (upper L) is taken from the famous Ptarmigan Tunnel to Ahern Pass Goat Trail. Iceberg Peak is the high, jagged point on the mid-right, and Ahern Pass is on the far right, at the top of the snow field. The goat trail (and the only path to take) is the horizontal line running midway between top and bottom of the cliff face before you. And what we've come over to reach this point is every bit as sheer as what is still ahead! Photo by Vernon, July 20, 2005.
