Another glorious view of the Colden 1942 slide from Algonquin.
What you see of the slide is the actual complete length you will have to scramble from out of the dike to the summit, a full mile long climb on an incline rock face.
To give an idea of the sheer size of that mountain, check me out sitting on the top boulder on another picture. This enormous boulder cannot even be seen from afar but is the center point to the climb one mile up on the slab.
