Congrats on making it to this scary peak!
I know the feeling, had a thing to settle with one rotten mountain, it took years to find a partner for it, made it but don't feel like coming back, unless I scout another safer route maybe...

I got weathered off an attempt of this earlier this summer and this report has given me a temporary fix. I agree with Kiefer that I'll be using these awesome photos next year. Nice work and great report.
congrats to both of you, Liba and Chris! it's a fine accomplishment, and it looks like you guys had a really great time on a gorgeous day. and indeed, this is a really informative TR that I'm sure will come in useful to many other future LH climbers. aren't the views of the Wilson group, the Sneffels Range, and the Vermillion group just amazing from LH, like a fortress surrounding you? Cheers!

Ever climb anything technical on CABEZON???? Try the S or SW face for some terror, er, I mean, fun. The final pitch through loose vertical volcanic ash is really fun.

I'd maybe try it by a different route, but I will never, ever go up that first scary pitch again. That was a good lead, Liba.

ExcellentCongrats on a fine climb. Nice photos and TR. I will eventually get on top of Lizard Head, it just hasn't worked out for me yet.
