Vallie Bridge Campground, CO This AHRA campground has river and walk-in/drive-in access with nice level tent pads. Pit toilets and parking are a short walk away. We had just set up our tents as you see here when a tremendous series of gusty winds blew through. My 8 year old, blue Sierra Designs Orion tent was the only tent that held up without any human intervention; everybody else was grabbing whatever they could hold to keep their tents from flying away. No wonder the tent pads have anchors along the edges for tent ropes! August 2008.
