Ohhh the memories...10 years ago (back when I was a noob) I had an epic in that valley! Worst bushwhacking even to this day I have run into in Colorado (although nothing compared the still in the PNW).

dont think you wan to hear that nowdon tthink you want to hear that now - but if you would have hiked uphill a couple hundred feet where South Black Creek comes gushing down - you would have found a perfect trail to get you back to Brush Creek TH in less than 3 hours - for whatever reason that trail is not marked on any map. South Black Creek Draynage is my absolute favorite - going back in later this month to bag another peak - great new posts about Wyoming peaks - may have to check out that area one day when I have time
