Hey Chief, Yeah, this incident was a hoot. The party above had a huge cluster-F. of ropes, and then started dropping gear on us. And not decent booty either. Dinged up Liberty 'biners, tat, and almost pegged me with a #4 Teton. They also dropped a windbreaker and a ballpoint pen. We bailed before any bodies came down. I last completed the whole rt. in 1985. Would love to revisit the rt. No crowds? as in a moonlight ascent? ;)kiddin' of course. I might be able to sneak away for a mid-week day trip in June, depends upon mission control (my wife.) I'll PM ya if I can swing it.
