Re: Great shotThank you dean for the nice words. It is a fun hike/scramble. A nice time to climb it is in april or may on firm snow. It is more thrilling and easier on the legs.

Nice Color Combo!Lovely shot and the colors are quite complimentary.

Re: Nice Color Combo!Thank you Deb! I believe some of the rock has higher iron content thus more oxidation/color. The cascade volcanoes are mostly just big mounds of crumbling lava. The volcanic vents bieng the only erosion resistant rock on these peaks.
