Hasn't voted | Thank you Deb! I believe some of the rock has higher iron content thus more oxidation/color. The cascade volcanoes are mostly just big mounds of crumbling lava. The volcanic vents bieng the only erosion resistant rock on these peaks. | | Posted Dec 26, 2006 2:48 am |
