Great shot. The Candian Rockies are one of the most beautiful places in the world. Hope to get up there sometime soon. Cheers.

Thanks! Gotta agree with you on the Canadian Rockies... you wouldn't be disappointed with a visit here. I'm hoping to see more of Oregon someday... there may be a bike trip down the coast from Vancouver to San Diego in the works. :) Take care.

The view from the summit of Burgess is nice too! You should give it a go sometime. Yoho is an awesome park. Cheers.

Thanks Furious One! I probably will give Burgess a go sometime... there's just so many things on that 'Want to do' list, that's it's just a matter of when to squeeze that beautiful outing in between all the other beautiful outings! Yeah, and I love Yoho too... it's where I really started to discover the mountains. It's good to see another prarie boy who enjoys the mountains. Do you ever feel too removed from them in Winnipeg? I felt that way and I was a bit closer in Regina!

I would love to live closer to the Rockies (or in the Rockies). Winnipeg is OK because I can drive to Canmore in a day (LONG day) and there is pretty good rock climbing about 2 hrs from Winnipeg (I have one photo as an example of what the rock is like but you have to go to my profile page to see it). But yes, I do miss the mountains as soon as I start the car for the ride home. Cheers.

Me neither! I've been in some really cold mountain waters before, but there's something about falling into water that makes it feel even colder!
