Thanks.Beautiful day on Elbert. One of the nicest days I've ever seen in the high country. You gotta' love the Freshmaker! The mentos are a bit of an inside joke from college based on those old cheesy commercials they used to do. We had some on a road trip to Boston, and they became the joke of the weekend. Every photo included us doing the pose while hammered. I backpacked/hiked with a lot of these same dudes, and it just became a theme with us. I have Mentos shots from Canyonlands, Zion, Appalachian Trail in Virginia and Maryland, Sierras, Yellowstone, etc. Elbert this June was the first time I'd hiked with one of my oldest bros (who was on the first Mentos trip) in ten years. So, had to revive the Mentos for this trip.
