As I lay on the freezing cold rocks with gale force winds slamming into my face, I set one camera to shoot this portrait of me shooting the same scene. It was so cold that I couldn't feel the shutter release on the camera that I was holding and I almost mIssed the shot. The gloves that I had were in the car and I didn't realize it until I had hiked the half mile out to this outcrop and if I went back for them I would loose the light, so I just sucked it up and embraced the cold. I will never forget this morning when we went to Table Rock. I had heard stories about the wind here, and they all were true.
