When were you up in The Boulderfield ??? I thought it would be a lot more wind scoured than it looks in this picture.

Yes, this picture was taken last Sunday (3-9-08). I was also up there on March 1st, and it was very wind scoured that day. Both days I tried to climb the Keyhole route. The first time the 50-60 mph wind gusts eventually turned me around in the Trough. This second time the snow on the route slowed me down just enough that I decided to turn around on the narrows....but I was so close! Oh well, I think that with the way the weather was deteriorating I made the right choice.

This one shows just how snowy it was up there owing to the 3 or so inches of snow that had fallen overnight:
