Decending the Sloan Corkscrew route around 7:00pm. The Monte Cristo group looked amazing in the late day light. It would have been nice to enjoy the views a little longer, but we needed to get back across the glacier before dark. Our camp was at 5650' and this picture was taken at 7400-ish. This reminds me of the Pröllweg (look up "routes" on SP) to Schareck (look up "mountain/rock" on SP) in Austria on an early morning! I'm sure this was the beginning of a great day!

I got a nice shot of Sloan last month from Cadet Peak. There is still some snow on the boot track I'm standing on here. I'll get around to posting more stuff soon.
