Backpacker Mountain Climber Lover of Mountains and the rocks that make everything else in the world seem small. My Dad brought me on my first backpacking trip at age 13 to climb Cloud Peak in the Bighorn Mountains, WY. It sparked a love affair with the mountains that has been going strong for the past 25 years. When I'm away from them for too long I long for them - I NEED them. I continued Backpacking with my Dad (Ron) for many years in both mountains and flatland in the rockies and the midwest until I found us a 3rd climbing partner in the form of my wonderful husband Rob who was "one of us" ;) and the perfect fit! Favorite Backpacking trips to date would be Cirque of the Towers, Wind River Range... Titcomb Basin/Freemont peak, Wind River Range... Cloud Peak, Bighorns... Tetons/ South Teton... Cliff Lake, Bighorns... Currently all the gear is out as we pack up to do Black Tooth Mountain & possibly Penrose peak in the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area of the BigHorns :):) GEAR IS EVERYWHERE! Who needs a dining room table?
