Monitor Ridge just below 7000...
Monitor Ridge just below 7000 ft. on a wintery August 4, 2002. The rock in the picture is characteristic of most of the climb from timberline at 4800 ft to about the 7200 ft level. Note here you can see it is also somewhat steep in places. (Photo by N. Fekete)
