I like the photos that I can see. They seem to give a really good "feel" of what it is like to tour the area. Unfortunately I cannot see all of the photos on the right side of the page on my browser (IE) After the "Eastern slope of La Peñota seen from the camp" photo, I can only see part of the right-hand photos.
This looks like it could be a good Cross-Country Ski area in the right conditions maybe?

About the ski, you're quite right. But most skiers prefer neighbors places (Cuerda Larga, Mujer Muerta, etc...) which are better: with more snow and longer and more clear slopes. In this valley is more common to find people with snowshoes that with skis.
