Veleta and Cerro de los Machos at dawn

In the foreground, Pico del Sabinar (2956 m) is the highest point the long Loma Púa. In the background, Point 3224, Veleta (3394 m), Point 3324 and Cerro de los Machos (3329 m). If enlargen you can glimpse Refugio Vivac de la Carihuela to the right of the gap between the Point 3224 and Veleta. Taken from below Puerto Molina while ascending Alcazaba. 19 September 2009. Those snow patches remained there since the Spring.
