Angst

I battled with my mind to continue, now 5 hours into the ascent and the way mostly obscured. But after 3 winter attempts, it was time not to be defeated. Alone again, no crampons - the way I choose, the way I climb to feel the real me inside. The experience was all the more the greater. But my legs were trembling.
