Of course I know it Bor :-) I think there is very small number of maybe some minor peaks in Slovenian Alps that I don't know. In Julian Alps for example I feel like at home and I love them very much :-) Vernar was always attractive peak to me, it has great shape, especially from Vodnikov Dom and from Kredarica directions. I never climbed it because never had time when passing by.
I love Slovenian Alps very much Bor! First time I was on Triglav was when I had 16 years. I organized the trip myself and took a friend of same age with me from Zadar who isn't mountaineer at all, just not to go alone. He didn't have a clue what to expect but Triglav sounded interesting to him :-) We climbed and descended via Cez Prag and Kredarica. That was experience! :-) Since then, in 90's, I climbed all important peaks in Slovenian Julian Alps, some in Karavanke and some in Kamniske Alpe. I've been on Triglav 5 times so far. Last time I've been in Slovenian Alps was Triglav in 4.2002. Then I decided it's time to visit other Alps to :-) Now I already miss Julian Alps and would love to climb Triglav again. I don't know when it will be because now I'm busy with my book and I'm devoting all my time to Velebit. But hopefully I'll find some time to visit Julian Alps till next summer.
Another high quality page. I am very glad that the mountains of Slovenia are coming up with such great speed and in so high quality: They remind me of my younger years when I often went there, (My mother was of Slovenian descent). Now that I am living in far away China, I at least can still read about them and view pictures of them.

Do you know this mountain? I think you know it because you had climbed there in nearness.
Do you reach it?
Cheers Bor!
