This route to Fletcher Peak is more interesting and challenging than the normal approaches. Take the Kyle Canyon Road (rte 157) toward the town of Mt Charleston. Before you reach the town, turn right on Rte 158, and park at a small gravel turnoff on the west side of the road, about 3.1 miles from the 157-158 intersection.
