View from The Alcove

View from The Alcove

The Alcove of Horseshoe Canyon, Utah, was likely used as shelter.
If true, this astounding view from inside greeted the residents.
(Horseshoe Canyon is a portion of Canyonlands National Park.)

Re: Absolutely magnificent!

Thank you, Eric. I'm glad you like it. The hike in that canyon was great. But, I did wonder what it would have been like to live in that alcove -- not exactly full of the conveniences we are accustomed to in our "modern" world.
