View from the summit of Crni Vrh (1110m) across upper Velika Paklenica valley towards Viserujna (1632m) (left), Buljma pass (1400m) (middle) and Rapavac (1617m) (right). Bura wind cap sits on Velebit. Live it looks like a waterfall spilling over the edge of the mountain, at very high speed.

Impressive atmospherics

When I first viewed this I reckoned you were on Crljeni Kuk (after looking at the Vaganski Vrh map), but after reading the caption I saw that you were farther toward the sea and looking over the Paklenika hut. to Rapavac,


Nice craggy ridge descends Rapavac towards valley. Is it the same one having the big window?

Thanks Mark! Yes, that's the one. Window is in the mid part of the cliffs below ridge, left of that scree surrounded by forest. You may notice how that part of the cliffs is pushed little bit forward. There is the window while behind it is huge cauldron closed by cliffs.
