View looking northerly from...
View looking northerly from Hood summit. St Helens on the left, Rainier distant center, Adams on the right. Taken around 7:30 am Friday April 9th, 2004. The visible, well consolidated, corniced summit belies a shear drop of hundreds of feet off the north side. I hear at least one poor soul mis-stepped over this edge not too long ago, may they RIP.
