7 Triglav Lakes Valley route

Traversing snowy slopes between Cez Hribarice pass (2358m) and Dolic hut (2151m) on the way from 7 Triglav Lakes Valley towards Triglav. Snow here lasts long into summer, July 14th 2001.

A very snowy winter

In 2001 we had a winter very rich with snow. Near Kredarica hut (2505m) max 7 meters of snow was recorded. So this picture was taken in somehow extraordinary conditions. Usually in July in this region there is much less snow.
