Fraser Valley Sunrise [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Fraser Valley Sunrise
This is the dramatic skyline view looking southeast from my home near Vancouver, British Columbia. The sunrise on this morning was truely spectacular. Slesse Mountain is the ribbed horn at center left. The next prominent peak to the right is Mount McGuire, then the Canadian and American Border Peaks, Mount Larrabee and finally Tomyhoi Peak at the right edge of the photo.

Like it was made with colored craft paper, the outlines are so sharp. Neat.

That fact that you had this view looking from your home makes me really ... wordsless and pretty jealous!

Truly, this is a fantastic picture that makes people dream.

Any chance to have a 1024x768 copy for my own desktop ?

:-)

cheers,

Lorenzo

That shot just grabs you, spectacular! There's a lot to see if you look into it, more than just the skyline. Nice.

I thought I'd seen some good sunsets in my time, but this one is in a class of it's own.
