The most common route to climb Castle Mountain is via the West Fork of the Rock Creek. The red colored route indicates bushwhacking because there is no marked trail.

Colors?

Do the colors mark the trail vs. the bushwhack?

Re: Colors?

Yes, There isn't much of a trail after Shadow Lake. So the red indicates bushwhacking.
