This is amazing photo. As soon as I noticed the thumb I took a breath and thought WOW. It really doesn't matter where it was taken, it could be in your 'back yard', that is not important here, this photo has it all.

Thanks for the vote and the message, I guess the credit must go to my friend Matt who took the picture with my camera. It was a memorable day - matched only by the moment where I fulfilled a life time's dream and stood on the top of the matterhorn - sadly I dropped my camera on descent. Obviously I'll have to up again!

Hi,



my first 4000 m peak was the Weissmies at the Penine Alps. We took a photo at the summit . But after the descent my camera was stolen at the campground in Randa ...



So I have to climb the Weissmies also once again ...
